So I haven't been keeping this blog up like I thought I would. But we're all human and tend to leave things to the last minute when there is almost no chance of doing them.
In order to make reparations for this I bring you the Kirby dance.
<(^.^<) (>^.^)>
And for my next trick with which you will be amazed, I shall show you a fantasy webcomic unlike any other. Without further adieu, I give you Rob Balder and Jamie Noguchi's Erfworld.
In all seriousness, this is one of the best fantasy comics I have ever seen. It provides a unique backdrop for the story that takes place and shows that even in modern times, people can astound you by taking a genre to new levels. Give it a try. That is all I ask. And lucky for you, the entire first book is already completed so you dont have to wait a week or two for a page to come out. Enjoy.

Summer Vacation Stuff

It has been and will continue to be a very hectic and busy vacation from work. It started out with a 4 day trip to Vegas and I will be leaving for a week trip to Lake Powell starting on Wednesday. I will definitely post more on both later. But today I went with some friends on a day trip to Sedona and more importantly, to Slide Rock.
Now I will say this for everyone; the water was COLD, but it was a blast. there was a lot to do there considering that it is just free-flowing water, including fast flowing water "chutes" that you could slide down and even a place that was deep enough that people could jump off a small cliff.
Now I hadn't been there in many years so my memory of that place was a little fuzzy, but I remember there being more areas where you could just slide on the rocks. Of course it may just be because I was smaller so it seemed like there was a larger sliding area.
What really surprised me was how busy the place was, even considering that it was Memorial Day. We had to wait in a line for about 40 minutes just to get into the parking lot. But all in all, it was a fun day and I can’t wait to do something like it again. Maybe a summer trip to Magic Mountain or something.

Star Trek
Definitely one of the best Star Trek movies. Possibly one of the best action movies of the year. We'll have to see how it compares to Transformers and Terminator.
I think that there is something in this movie for everyone, both old die-hard fans as well as people that have never even seen any of the episodes or movies.
Go see it and be amazed. That is all.

Bad Person
There are times in my life when I think that I'm a bad person. Not all of the time mind you, but sometimes. While driving home tonight from work I experienced one of these rare times.
Both on my way to work as well as on my way home, i have to travel on a busy freeway that when I'm lucky, wont have much traffic on it. It does, however, usually have that steady flow of traffic which causes everyone to slow down to around 5mph under the speed limit. Don't ask me why, but it does. However, late at night there isn't a lot of traffic and allows people to put their foot down and go at a prudent speed.
Now, I was almost all the way home and had just driven off the freeway when this "bad" moment occurred. I was waiting at the exit -ramp light to get onto the surface streets when out of the corner of my eye, I see a bright flash. Someone had just been hit by the Radar Camera that was set up underneath the overpass.
As soon as this happened, I started laughing. For some reason, I think it's humorous that people are still getting hit by these things, when they have been there for years. And it's not even one of the photo-radar vans that can be set up nearly anywhere. This was a permanent photo-radar station that had 2 warnings set up 300ft and half a mile back from the station. And as I said, during the day the flow of traffic prevents people from getting hit by these cameras. But at night, people are able to go the speed they desire (as long as they slow down for the cameras). It may also be that I'm simply glad its not me.
Well, here's to you Mr. Just got hit by the photo radar camera. Hopefully your face is unreadable or blurry in the picture.

First
This is my first post blogging about anything and while I don't have anything in particular to rant about, I felt in necessary to post anyway. With this blog I have decided to forget any preconceptions about writing with a specific topic in mind and have decided to simply write about whatever I happen to have on my mind at that particular moment.
By not having a target audience I can already tell that this blog is going to crash harder than the Hindenburg but this is as much for me as it is for anyone that happens to come across my blog. Let us hope that it does not crash simply because I did not find or make the time to write in this blog.
So with that said, I welcome you to my blog and hope that you will come back and read something worthwhile once I begin my steps to beat Wil Wheaton in the arena of competetive blogging. Take care.
